# Make your Coins go further

Earn Coins by breaking blocks, watch four destruction bonus thresholds and plan unlocks with the numbers shown in your own game.

Edited 2026-10-11. Independent fan guide.

## Where the Coins come from

The official description gives two parts of the destruction income: Coins for broken blocks and bonuses at listed destruction percentages. It also announces [SMASH for 5,000 Coins](https://smashthecity.online/codes/).

For planning, use the Coin total displayed in your game. Record it before a timed run and again at the end. If you spend Coins or claim a code during the measurement, that balance change is not a clean measure of your destruction income.

## The 25 / 50 / 75 / 95 checkpoints

![Destruction bonuses are listed at 25, 50, 75 and 95 percent](https://smashthecity.online/assets/milestones.svg)

Original diagram of officially listed thresholds; no payout amounts are implied.

Creator-listed destruction bonus thresholds

| Threshold | Meaning on the progress meter | Gap from previous threshold |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 25% | One quarter destroyed | 25 percentage points from 0% |
| 50% | Half destroyed | 25 percentage points |
| 75% | Three quarters destroyed | 25 percentage points |
| 95% | Near a complete clear | 20 percentage points |

For example, a meter at 62% is 13 percentage points away from 75%. A meter at 82% is 13 points away from 95%. These differences describe progress, not how many attacks or minutes the remaining buildings require.

Our suggestion is to use the next checkpoint as a session goal. Measure the time and Coin gain needed to reach it, then compare the result with another run under similar conditions.

## Unlock budget calculator

Enter the price you see in the game, your current balance and your own earning rate. The calculator estimates how much more you need and how long that gap would take at a steady rate.

**Formula:** Coin gap = maximum of zero and (target price − current balance − any reward not yet included). Estimated minutes = Coin gap ÷ measured Coins per minute.

**Example inputs:** a 10,000-Coin target, 7,200 Coins in the balance and a measured rate of 400 Coins per minute leave a gap of 2,800 Coins. At that rate, the saving estimate is 7 minutes. The example is arithmetic, not a quoted weapon price or promised game income.

Do not add the code reward twice. If you use the balance displayed after claiming it, leave the extra-reward option unchecked. An estimate can change when you switch maps, equipment, settings or session conditions.

## Compare two Coin farming runs

Use net Coins earned and actual elapsed minutes. Include aiming, waiting and time spent finding remaining targets. Keep code claims and purchases outside the measurement window.

**Formula:** Coins per minute = net Coins earned ÷ elapsed minutes. Compare rates rather than just the biggest final total.

**Example inputs:** 1,200 Coins over 3 minutes is 400 Coins per minute. A different run earning 1,500 over 5 minutes is 300 Coins per minute. The shorter run has the higher measured rate even though it earned fewer total Coins.

Repeat close results over several sessions. Keep the same map when evaluating weapons and the same weapon when evaluating maps. Record starting destruction progress and other players’ activity; these conditions can influence what a comparison means.

## Turn the result into a spending decision

Choose one target at a time. If your balance already covers the price, consider whether buying now serves your next goal or delays another unlock you want more. If a gap remains, use the estimate to plan a session rather than assuming every minute will have identical income.

A larger visual effect is a reason to try a weapon, not enough by itself to prove a better farming rate. Use the [weapon comparison method](https://smashthecity.online/weapons/#compare-weapons) and keep your own run notes. For a new environment, read the [map practice guide](https://smashthecity.online/maps/#map-practice).

The tools run in your browser and use the numbers you enter. They do not connect to Roblox, read your account or spend Coins.

## Questions, answered

### Which destruction percentages award bonuses?

Kabooom Crew’s official description lists 25%, 50%, 75% and 95% destroyed as bonus thresholds.

### How do I calculate Coins per minute?

Subtract your starting Coin balance from your ending balance, then divide the net gain by minutes played. Measure a run without purchases or code claims affecting the balance.

### How do I estimate saving time?

Subtract your current balance from your target price, then divide the positive gap by your measured Coins per minute. If your balance already covers the price, the saving gap is zero.

### Should I add the code reward to my balance?

Use the balance displayed after redemption. Add 5,000 separately only when those Coins are not already included in the balance you entered.
